Hello,

I've just setup this custom PC (with parts listed below) to find that there is no video. Have I done something wrong? I took all of the parts out of the case and rebuilt it outside (just to see if anything was shorting in the case, but still no video.

I've also tried plugging in my mouse (that lights up) to which didn't light up.

I have left it some time just incase if it had a long boot process, but still a black screen, and no signal.

Motherboard: Asus H110M Plus

CPU: Intel Celeron G3950 LGA1151

RAM: Viper Patriot 8GB (2x4GB DDR4 2400MHz)

Power Supply: Fractal Design 750W Integra M

No, I thought it had onboard graphics?

It does, I was just making sure if you had one or not. Re seat the CPU, check for bent pins, etc.

Try booting with 1 ram stick, do this with both sticks.

Ok, I’ve tried booting with just 1 RAM stick in and it works, however, when I switch it to the other port, nothing happens. Could this be a broken port on the motherboard?

Most likely.

Wait... are you using dual channel?

ex. IXIX

I is RAM, X is free slot. That is what you should be doing, not IIXX. Just making sure you are doing that. If you are then it's a problem with the motherboard it's self.
