I have a case(forgot the name) that supports 5 fans. 2 are being used for my radiator and the other 3 are installed. I have one in the back and two in the front. The reason im asking is because my gpu is getting ver hot lately(85C) and I kinda need to fix it. If anyone has ideas on how i can increase airflow that would help. i also have an aio so no cooler is blocking air. Thanks

Do you have your fans setup in a way where optimal airflow can be carried throughout the case?

2 in the front, 1 in the back is the normal setup for most peoples cases, Make sure the fans are running the correct way...That is a common issue.

........

Thats the wrong way around man.

You want the front to be sucking in air, While the back to be blowing it out..

And put 2 fans in the front of the case, and one fan at the back of the case, near the top, due to hot air going up.

Does your case actually have mesh or is it all sealed off? What's the actual name of it?

not sure the exact name (if you know a way to find it tell me...). But I have mesh near all fans (see top left)

Just take a picture of the entire case and it can probably be figured out quickly.

But ya if your front 2 fans broke or the motherboard/ w/e isn't powering them that's probably an issue.

That's probably a Define 2/4/6

And the front of your case has limited airflow for intake, which is probably why your temps are higher than average.

do you think maybe its time to upgrade my case?

Unless you want to swap over to some high airflow case like an H500

just take off the front panel of the case, or leave the side panel off to get better airflow. If it's a define case the front panel has a door that can be opened for airflow.

If you're only having tempature issues recently it could just be dust, or your need to repaste your GPU, or it's just pulling more voltage for whatever reason.

well i just cleaned every piece of dust from my case lol. I was thinking it was the gpu paste but that wouldnt explain the high cpu temps as well.

Didn't you mention that both of your front fans were off/broken/not spinning?

ya i fixed them, Im getting like 78C now under load instead of 84C so thats an improvement but still..

Then just go for the high airflow option then, H500 is probably the best bet there

The RL06 Pro is also great, but has more limited AIO mounting options I think vs the H500

Or just open the case it'll probably be pretty close.
