If you did 5 seconds of Googling you'd get a bunch of results point to it being a trojan.

 

Download Malwarebytes and remove it.

How can you be "pretty sure" about it?

You made this post because you didn't know what it was, you can't just contradict yourself..

This should be its default location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Acer\Acer Portal\abSunset.exe

It just so happen that a virus has the same name. A virus wouldn't bother emulating the End of Service notification he posted before.

Either uninstall the Portal (It's useless Bloat anyway) or prevent it from booting with Windows. (In the services or in the startup manager)
