If you did 5 seconds of Googling you'd get a bunch of results point to it being a trojan.

Download Malwarebytes and remove it.

How can you be "pretty sure" about it?

You made this post because you didn't know what it was, you can't just contradict yourself..

These are just some of the results you get when you search for it.

Spoiler

It is indeed related to Acer's Portal
http://www.advanceduninstaller.com/Acer-Portal-bd1871f50979f4078f31ded09d1c98f6-application.htm

This should be its default location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Acer\Acer Portal\abSunset.exe

It just so happen that a virus has the same name. A virus wouldn't bother emulating the End of Service notification he posted before.
http://binarydb.com/file/abSunset.exe-3357170.html

Either uninstall the Portal (It's useless Bloat anyway) or prevent it from booting with Windows. (In the services or in the startup manager)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Bazzite
