Malwarebytes is probably the most well regarded antimalware program out there. The paid version gets you automatic scans and excellent anti-exploit protection features as well as real time protection. The free version is adequate for most people (when combined with common sense and a good aggressive adblocker) but the paid version's benefits cannot be ignored.

New Build (The Compromise): CPU - i7 9700K @ 5.1Ghz Mobo - ASRock Z390 Taichi | RAM - 16GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 3200CL14 @ 3466 14-14-14-30 1T | GPU - ASUS Strix GTX 1080 TI | Cooler - Corsair h100i Pro | SSDs - 500 GB 960 EVO + 500 GB 850 EVO + 1TB MX300 | Case - Coolermaster H500 | PSUEVGA 850 P2 | Monitor - LG 32GK850G-B 144hz 1440p | OSWindows 10 Pro.

Peripherals - Corsair K70 Lux RGB | Corsair Scimitar RGB | Audio-technica ATH M50X + Antlion Modmic 5 |

CPU/GPU history: Athlon 6000+/HD4850 > i7 2600k/GTX 580, R9 390, R9 Fury > i7 7700K/R9 Fury, 1080TI > Ryzen 1700/1080TI > i7 9700K/1080TI.

Other tech: Surface Pro 4 (i5/128GB), Lenovo Ideapad Y510P w/ Kali, OnePlus 6T (8G/128G), PS4 Slim.

Adblocker isn't included unfortunately.

The best adblocker out there atm is uBlock Origin.

I would say that the best Adblocker is Ghostery, pretty much you block everything including pop-outs, and they have android browser that clears pop ups and ads for a clear browse for you know.....stuff

PC technician and IT Consultant going on 10+ years now. MBAM Premium is the BEST $75 USD I've ever spent, even before my Canadian Ruble became worthless. I have 3 lifetime licenses for MBAM Premium for home use, and have since become a beta test member along with other technicians. To be clear, I'm promoting them because I use their product on my clients computers because it works and works very well. I see no direct benefit from this, other than if more people use their product they can collect more malware examples and improve things even more.

Most of my clients just get by with MBAM Premium and Windows Defender, since I try to focus on education when using the internet and checking email, but there are always certain clients who choose not to learn, or claim not to have the time. They get told to use Kaspersky PAID alongside MBAM Premium, since I've found that at least having the "intrusiveness" of a security quite makes them stop and think about what they're doing in the moment, and ask me questions about why they have to update all the time. It kind of serves as a constant re-education reminder for them more than actual security software haha.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | Koodo - 75GB Data + Data Rollover for $45/month
Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560 (the real 15" MacBook Pro that Apple didn't make) Tablet: iPad Mini 5 | Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 10.1
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 | Panasonic TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)
