PC keeps freezing

Computer keeps freezing (audio stops, video freezes) hard reset is required to get computer running again. Problem is aggravated more my videogames. Thermals are fine when freezing occurs, tried cleaning computer, updating drivers, reseating graphics card, clearing all types of cache, checking registry for errors (nothing but kernel power from hard resets) tried everything short of a clean Windows 10 install. Could my CPU be dying?

 

Specs:

cpu-amd fx 9590

gpu- Radeon R9 390 double dis black eddition

mobo- gigabyte 990FXA ud3

PSU-  corsair CX750

Does it ever give you the blue screen of death with an error code or does it just get stuck on whatever image was on the screen. It is possible that the issue could be ram related, you could try just booting with one stick if you have two, or with the ram installed to different dim slot.

I am having a freezing issue as well, just completely freezes. Mine is like every 5-30 minutes though, a lot of people are saying CPU in my case.
