So im getting the Redragon K555 Indrah RGB Keyboard this coming Tuesday. I was wondering what dampeners would I need? The keyboard has Opteron Blue switches that are bacically Chrry MX Blues the nice clicky ones that i love so much.

I dont want the key caps to clatter at the bottom of their travel I only want to hear the click of the switch. What colour/thickness of key dampeners will i need? I currently use red ones and I can still hear them clatter at the bottom of the travel. I am a very heavy typer so i do need some dampening on the bottom of the keys.

So which colour will i need? Or rather which thickness squisyness would i need?

Your best to experiment what work's best for you, you can even try double stacking o-rings but if you find you really push down hard on the keys they make larger dampening pads which may be more suitable for your kind of application.

I thought about pads before, but they dont let any light through at all so sadly they arnt an option. What I thought about doing what getting a bulk pack of 200 clear rings and double up like you say.

If you can't find ones of the correct thickness a good source is to look at a fastener or industrial supply shop, if you know the size and thickness of orings you need you can usually get them with different durometers (hardness) for relatively reasonable prices.

I assume you mean Outemu blue switches? Opteron is an AMD processor.

Which o-ring you need depends largely on your key caps. An o-ring works by putting a barrier between the underside of the cap and the top of the switch housing. Caps are all different heights so some will bottom out even with a thing o-ring while others will not. This height can even vary between the rows of a single set of caps. So the answer is 'It depends'.
