If you wanted to build a PC for the shoestring budget for $350, what would you use? Yeah a ryzen APU build is good, but for the time being, let's say you want more performance. Haswell CPU? Sandy bridge? X58? What kind of used graphics card, now that the used market actually makes sense? Super ghetto mods to force part combos to work are welcome.

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

Trash beauty:

Xeon X5560RX 570 4GB (defective) -Fattydove Racing 240GB - WD Blue 320GBHP Z400 - 6x2GB DDR3 1066 - EVGA 450W3

 

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

When a new thread is started on mobile, there's a dropdown to choose the subforum it's created in.
