How do you connect 3 rgb fans to the msi b350 mortar??

My case has 3 rgb fans that I have connected to the motherboard using the system fan headers. They spin but do not light up. The cooler master rgb splitter seems not to be compatible with the motherboard as it connects to the led header however only one fan lights up.  Please help.
