Why are you upgrading: Want to play CSGO, titanfall 2, rocket league at max settings

I'd change the CPU to a regular 2600 and get a good cooler. I'd also personally get a 120-256GB SSD and a 1-2TB HDD to save money and have a lot more storage, but it's a personal preference thing and you may not want to.

 

Oh, and don't get a "mini" video card unless you're doing an ITX build, which you aren't. Unless it's the cheapest 1080 by at least 40 pounds, I'd get a regular sized card.

Assuming you want mainly a Red themed build ?

 

You could drop down to a locked i5 if you wanted to save some money. Also a GTX 1070 would be fine for 1080p so that is somewhere else you might be able to save.

I wasn't sure if he had other storage as he only had the same in his spec. A 1TB HDD would be a good shout though if he doesn't.
