*HELP* How much is my laptop worth now?

Hi there,

New poster here. Figured people here might have an idea of what my laptop is worth as i'm looking to sell, but have no clue what it's worth anymore. Any advise would be great! (Even if it's just a price range)

Note - Bought this laptop from PCSpecialist back in Jan 2016, paid £1200 for it (UK of course! o.O). I expect it's decreased massively in price but to what extent i'm unsure!

I mean it's probably worth 500£ but someone would be willing to buy it for more for it... based on aesthetics...

It's practically new! Reason I want to sell it is that I just don't use it enough! haha

Oh this is pretty encouraging! At first I thought it'd be £300/400 because of the age of some of the components! But I guess 2/3 years isn't that long :)

Given that you didn't provided any pictures of it's condition I would say easily 400 Pounds up to 600 if in good shape and everything is intact. I would say, if you don't need the money fast try to sale it at mulptiple sales websites for around 800-900 and wait for month, then start -50 whenever you feel you can spare those 50 pounds. ( Don't forget to put attractive pictures or it won't get sold even for 400) Cheers!

Like above ^ it's practically new, I reckon i've used it maybe 50 times in the past 2 years (bought it and then just never found the time for it) and it's never been out the house, it's even completely scratch free! haha!

Pretty good comments though, I might put it up for 800 and then take it to 750 if I don't get any interest! :)

I had 2011 Toshiba Qosmio that didn't got traction for 2 months until a guy wanted to buy it for almost the same price that I had put, because he searched for the same lappy for quite some time. You gotta be patient.
The laptop was kinda 50% because there was only 4GB ram, 1 HDD left and without the GPU (gtx 560m) but he still bought it so yeah you'll find someone

Cool, well that gives me hope! I wasn't expecting as much as people are saying so here's hoping!

Where abouts did you list yours? (Do certain places get higher traction for laptops?)

Well since I'm from Bulgaria and most of the population uses mostly 2 websites here for used things (www.olx.bg, www.bazar.bg) I listed mine actually just in OLX, I recon that olx is present in most EU countries so try with that, else look up what's the biggest used websites in your country. For example in USA is Craiglist if I'm not mistaken.  In china is Aliexpress in EU is Ebay etc. Still I advise you to put quality pictures that can show that your laptop is in reality in good shape and without common ware and tear (as you said) Don't get too detailed in the description how it's like brand new or never used or something like that, these stuff rejects people. Good luck! *sorry for the long message Hope I helped*

P.S: Also when I was talking with the guy that was buying my laptop I offered him Verbal offer that If something is not right as we agreed or thinks that I am lying to him that I will return his money as he return my laptop. That makes the buyer feels safe even if it's just verbal and I could lie to him still. *ofc be careful with that cuz it's just optional and you leave room for him to steal from you*
