Hello Guys,

I was wondering if you guys could help me price out a video editing PC for my brother.

What he needs it to do:

-Wants to have a Windows 7 based system for his wife (Work training that only works with Internet Explorer -_- and not any other internet browsers)

-Wants to do video editing with Adobe Premier

-Wants to game on eye candy graphics such as (Ultra on Battlefield 4)

Components he wants:

Core i7 Processor *OR* AMD 8320 if there are any benefits.

Personally I'm not a video editing expert at all. I don't know what would benefit video editing more: Nvidia (Cuda)/AMD (OpenGL) #IDK

If you guys know whats best, please tell me (I'm here to learn as well)

His budget is $1000-1200 CAD with the Windows 7 Home Premium OS

Get an 8350, the cores and cache will be super for rendering videos. Get an Nvidia based gpu for the cuda cores for extreme video rendering. Something like a 760, 780 or 780ti which ever suits you best :)

24GB is more than enough for a video editing rig. I use 8gb and I creat short films. I bought another 8 so I can achieve 16gb, then I could render 4000x4000 content :'). I recommend 16GB +
