So, I've got an amazing PC, three consoles, and some spare PCIe slots.

I'm looking to get a capture card to use as a passthrough, in order to play my consoles through my PC. Using a separate input on my monitor is not an option, so id like some tips.

Anyone know a capture card with 2 or 3 HDMI inputs?

Also, what software should I use to display the input from the capture card in both a full screen mode, and a windowed mode?

Why not just plug the Consoles into a monitor? Most monitors have more than 1 input

Also both consoles can stream over internet to a PC

Use remote play for PS4 and the Xbox app,or you can buy a capture card for 100 plus

Even a HDMI switch would work

^ and youll notice an extreme amount of input lag going through a capture card.

HDMI switches arent too expensive either.

Internet streaming is not an option because of two reasons: first, the input lag is awful, second, I've got bad internet The streaming doesn't go very well even if there wasn't awful input lag.

I specifically stated in my post that plugging them into another input in the monitor was not an option, as they are already occupied for other functions, and even if they were not, I don't dare use the integrated speakers in my monitor, and the sound system I use for everything else is out of reliable inputs. The most effective way for me to utilize my consoles in my set up would be to pass through with my PC, and in doing so, share the display input, and the sound system.

The input lag of a PCIe capture card will not be nearly as bad as steaming the console.

Unfortunately for me, Ethernet does not reach the painfully long distance that is between my router and PC,

Headphones are great, when I want to use them.

That being said, headphones are not what I want to be using whenever I game on my consoles.

When I came here, I expected to find answers to the questions I asked, not alternatives that do not fit my scenario.

Of course I've thought about an HDMI switch, I would use Ethernet if it was within appropriate range. I don't plan to solely utilize headphones when playing on a console.
