Reverting a stupid mistake

Right click -> Open with -> Choose defauilt programm and select winrar or whatever you use for your zip files

make sure the checkbox labeled Always use the selected program to open this kind of file

I downloaded a DVD playing app (VLC) and set it up but in the setup accidentally associated a lot of file types with it, meaning my zip files have become VLC media files. How can i revert this?
