GPU crash when under heavy load

Go to solution Solved by MgR,

I changed the thermal paste and also changed the GPU power cable and it seems that my card has returned to normal.
I even OC it and ran Heaven for 20 mins, everything seems to be ok.

Recently my rx 480 4gb card has become unstable even at base clock. I have done some test:
- Normal use, Youtube, Twitch.... => OK
- Dragonball fighterz, Hearthstone all with max settings   => OK
- Heaven benchmark => crash to desktop after a few seconds.
- Farcry 5, Fallout 4, Metro last light => can load but crash after a few seconds of moving around.
The fans are spinning just fine, temps never reach 80c (room temps about 32c). CPU temps are also normal.
I removed the driver with DDU and installed the newest driver but that doesn't help.
What is wrong with my card? Is there a way to fix it?
