Selling macbook

i'm looking on selling my macbook pro 13. i have craigslist, ebay, swappa, but i am open to other places. craigslist is probably my last resort because someone may rob me

 

another thing however is that i may need to replace the keyboard and battery. should i go forward with this ?

If it's under warranty and needs repair, yes get it fixed.  You'll get more money for it if it's in working order.

Is it one of the macs covered under the recent extended warranty program? 

 

If so, get it repaired by Apple for free and then sell it - if you want to. My 2016 got totally messed up during the repair so they gave me a 2017 model with a fresh new warranty. Don't sell it before getting the repair, you'll just be throwing money away since the person who buys it can just hand it in and get the repair done for nothing.

Facebook marketplace and any meetup do in a police station parking lot.  It’s nice to be able to look at the profile of someone looking to purchase vs just some anonomous user
