Yes it good, though you know you can just look up the 3 parts it has and see if it comes out cheaper? (most likely does)

Though unless you're doing some heavy OC and workstation/video editing, I wouldn't recommend this.

Thanks for your response, since I will be doing gaming. What should I get instead? Pls take in consideration my GTX 1080 MSI GAMING X

Budget? An i7 8700k + a X series mobo with 8-16gb of ram, if you have the money, would be good, but if you have less, an i5 8400 and 8gb will do fine.

the 8700k with a z370 carbon pro msi with 16 gb of trident z ram was what i originally wanted. A gtx 1080 later i have about 500 to spend. But i can wait and save up since i have an i5 2600 atm :/

Oooohh, Thanks a bunch. I like that motherboard color as well. Ram prices went down toooo:) Still think I should get the ryzen 7 for gaming . . .looking to get a triple monitor set up in the future!
