How many VRMs is enough?

Hey guys, just bought an H370M motherboard from Asus and was just wondering how many VRMs you guys view as enough for your CPU? 

 

Also can anyone tell me how many my motherboard has? Are there enough for adequate cooling for an i5-8400 on full load?

For an 8400, 4 phases without heatsink, or 3 phases with heatsink is enough.

What would you suggest minimum for an 8700 (locked)? 

Would you think my mobo would be fine?

I think B360-A Pro or B360 Pro4
