PC build- amiga emulator

I'd really love to see if its possible to build a full pc inside the corpse of an old amiga 500.

 

With this system it would need to seal perfectly inside the case and have the spec to play both emulate-amiga and old pc games, external drive is possible only if it looks like the old amiga version.

 

Setting up the amiga emulator and dosbox boot fun.

 

Sounds like a job for linus!

I've seen a raspberry A1200 case as well somewhere... the one I linked above (after your answer) isn't the one I thought of, but it is nearly one... the one I had in mind was for mini itx boards...

I went the opposite direction and put my A1200 with a turbo board, several HDD, ram extensions, Fast SCSI II, 2 cd roms, into an AT Tower... It still runs =)

 

There also was a specialized emulator running on QNX Neutrino which put through nearly full hardware power to the emulated amiga... it was called Amithlon... 

 

I still got it somewhere... only the correct QNX Neutrino version is missing... 

But why use an emulater when you still got the real deal =)
