I'm having an potential thermal issue with my CPU. It is not impacting my PC usage at all but, when gaming, my CPU temp does reach 70. I did try running stress testing to see how fast it'll raise. I'm not too good on CPU testing programs so, I picked a few I've seen used by my coworkers. I used OCCT first. With large data testing, it will hit 90 after about a minute. Small will hit 90 within a second. Seems to continue without issue using medium. With Prime95, it will continue without really getting over 80. Not sure if these are good testing programs but, it is the ones I'm aware of. Even tried Intel's diagnostics to see if there may just be something up with the CPU and no problems.

I'm using Corsair's H80i v2 liquid cooler. Everything with it seems to be running properly. I'm just trying to see if I need to be worried about my CPU or cooler. I know lower temps would prolong the life of my CPU so, I'm trying to find out how to improve it without actually going for any kind of custom liquid cooling.

Any ideas? I can try other programs to test as well, if anyone has any recommendations.

EDIT: the thermal compound is fine as well. I actually reapplied it not too long to ago when I was running diagnostics on the same issue.
