Do I need a gpu bracket or not?

First of all idk what gpu is better for my needs: I have a 4k 60hz freesync 27in monitor (planning on getting a second 1440p @144hz g sync 27in monitor). I was looking at a gtx 1080ti from evga the ftw3 edition but I was told about the SC2. So would a SC2 be better for the parts I listed? https://pcpartpicker.com/user/MadeInChina_O69/saved/VBrHhM

 

Im also wondering if I need a gpu bracket for the SC2 or FTW3 gpus.

the FTW 3 card is the best of the 2, you won't need a GPU bracket. it might be nice it will prevent your card from hanging down on the front right spot but that's the only thing it will do.

Should I get it now bc the msrp is $780 and on amazon it is $789.99

yes I would just buy I now the cryptocurrency is rising again so I expect that miners will buy it soon out of stocks again
