I need a good mic

I want to be able to place it about 2 feet away from my mouth right under my monitor while it still being loud enough while also not picking up things to the side of it for example people talking in the hallway. I can spend a lot of money for it if I have too but I was thinking around 40-70usd

Between your monitor and keyboard? Bad spot for it mate, it's going to pick up all your keystrokes and any tapping or banging on the desk. Do you have the ability to put it anywhere else? Location will effect suggestion.
