Hey all!

So, I found a deal on a Lenovo L24q 23.8" Monitor ($150 USD https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/accessories-and-monitors/monitors/home/L24q-20-23-8-QHD-MonitorHDMI%2BDP/p/65D2GCC3US) and I was wondering if it is worth upgrading to from my current 1080p 60 Hz monitor (the response time is really bad, I just don't know how much).

Is there much of a difference in visible quality between 1080p and 1440p? I just built a new setup with a GTX 1080, and my old monitor isn't cutting it anymore.

Yeah, it will make a difference. 23.8" is a little small, but if you are comfortable with the size, I would say you should go for it.

Okay, I think I'm going to grab it then. Thanks guys! ?

$500 video card and $150 monitor?  Ultrawide!  You have the horsepower, use it! :)

I'd go bigger honestly, at least 27" 16:9 if you're going 1440p.  Or a 2160x1080 ultrawide if you want higher fps or a 3440x1440 ultrawide if you want a bit more pixel density.

I mean, I would... But I'm getting a Vive soon, so I'm pretty strapped on cash. I figured this would help round my setup a bit, considering my current 1080p monitor is only 24". But that is definitely in my future!
