So I have 2 windows 10 rigs both were setup to see my NAS via homegroup both have the latest update from which I understand no longer offers homegroup here's where things get strange, My 1600x and 1800x rigs both have/had a path directly to the NAS in network connections giving me full access to all drives on the screen, now my 1800x still shows all shares under the network but the 1600x I cannot for the life of me get it to show the NAS under networks. Now the caveat is that during some maintenance on my network I reset my router and my NAS has a new ip and my 1800x seems to have adjusted to the new ip but my 1600x NAS icon was not recognized I even tried to open it by copying the 1800x icon onto my 1600x but no go now if I read it correctly if you had settings under homegroup that they would remain but homegroup would no longer be available so I'm wondering if my 1800x is holding onto that setup and if I delete the direct link to the NAS I'll never get it back like the 1600x? I will say its odd because I can map a network drive to any share on my NAS from my 1600x so the system does see and acknowledge its there I just can't map the whole NAS here is a screenshot of my 1800x and this is a direct shortcut to the entire NAS bit confusing but can anybody shed any light on this seems to me it is a windows thing with the new update?

Yeah its weird it will let me individually map a share but not the whole server like on the other rig

So figured out my problem, don't know if its an unRAID thing as I have no experience with other NAS software but I mapped a share and it worked correctly I then noticed that it populated the i.p. in my network list so I right clicked on it and copied to the start menu that did it I am now able to access all shares so I the copied a shortcut to the desktop and renamed it and poof works and all is good
