So I would like to buy a Team T-Force Delta RGB SSD and sink it up to my motherboard using aura sink. But the rgb cable for the ssd uses a 5v 3 pin header but the only rgb header my motherboard has is a 4 pin rgb (which are not compatible). The ssd’s cable plugs into it with a micro USB so I am wondering if a micro USB to 4pin rgb or a micro USB to iternal USB.

I haven’t bought the ssd yet so if there’s not a way then It isn’t the end of the world.

https://www.teamgroupinc.com/en/product/delta-rgb-ssd shows an interface cable that has both a 3-pin and a 4-pin connector. Also has a link to a pdf of compatible Asus motherboards.

Yeah, but you cant drive 5v addresable leds, from 12v non adressable. Thats just how it works.

You might edit the OP to indicate that the incompatibility is not 3 vs 4 pins, rather it is the voltages.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Its both, cuz adressable led strip doesnt work with "analog" controllers. Analog led strips work by pwming 3.diffirent leds, to get the color.

For addressable you have din, and dout. And you can change color in code only.
