I got a Asus 7970 Direct Cu II Top card that blacks out during gaming (most recently on starbound) Using HDMI, and sound is working.

This happened after newest driver (9.14.10.01001 Catalyst 13.11)

Is it a driver problem, or is it because I've been oc the card to much? (core:1175-memory:1600)

Currently running it on stock speed during blackout.

Previously it came "back on" by itself, most recent time, I alt+tab to get video back.

I'm not a user of any AMD card.. Ever..
But Maybe you should try to overclock it less, and possibly use the last driver release, instead of your current one ?
If it was stable before you updated, I guess it's because of the driver, but if you OC it a little lower than 1175 / 1600 maybe you can stay stable.
I'd suggest to run something like Furmark or MSI Kombuster or something like that for a couple hours and see how that goes.
If stable, i'd say leave it and have fun :)

I'll try to roll back to previous driver, when it actually worked, both stock and overclocked :)

Read more carefully... ;) But I think its the driver problem... Either wait for a fix or install older version.
