hey i need some help i am useing a acer i3 m370 lap top and i cant not get my wired internet 2 work all that works is wireless and i checked the cord its fine and were its pluged in is green so its working but still not working its not comeing up on my lap top as wired just wireless only what should i do i think something got changed on the lap top plizs help ugh

You can try reinstalling them by scanning for hardware changes in device manager, it tries to detect uninstalled devices and install the drivers for them. If that does not work, or it installs and you have the same problem then the drivers themselves may have become corrupted (not just the installation of them). You would then want to get a fresh copy of the drivers from your manufacturers support website http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers . Look up your laptop and download the LAN/Ethernet/NIC/Network drivers. Make sure to uninstall the current drivers (deleting driver files if given the option) before installing the new ones, there are sometimes issues with installing over the top of existing files if an installer sees that a file exists it may skip to the next one leaving a corrupted version installed. Post back if you need further help.

i fixed it i went on acer.com and got all the newer drivers it was out of date now its working
