Samsung Smart TV Smart Hub freeze

I just bought the Samsung Smart TV that has the Smart Hub software on it.. everything was fine for a few hours and then I couldn't use the Smart Hub anymore.. after a few seconds the Smart Hub overlay was shown, no matter what I am doing.. Settings, apps or just waiting in the smart hub main menu it will just freeze every time after 5 - 10 seconds.. I can watch the channels fine.. switch between them & change volume.. however, whenever I try to access the Smart Hub shit goes to hell.. the tv freezes and even restarts itself after being frozen for about minute (sometimes). I can't do the factory reset because I can't access the settings menu due to freezing.. and I can't find instructions on how to do it with the smart remote...

Have you tried uplugging the TV for a time and plugging it back in? 

 

Samsung's software is horrid to say the least. My mom has a Samsung Smart TV but she uses a Amazon Fire Stick for smartness. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I've tried absolutely anything.. the software is just not working.. I've tried doing a factory reset.. I've tried manually updating through an USB.. I've tried enabling & disabling different settings.. nothing helped... I'm send this TV back and getting a new one..

Might I suggest a Fire Stick or Roku for your new one. Samsung does well on hardware but I find their software is lacking. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I don't know if it is supported in my country.. I don't even have Amazon here...
