SSD Newb

Go to solution Solved by nixproducer,

here linus did a video on it

Hey guys, so this is my first time dealing with Solid State Drives.

I got an SSD today, it's a PNY XLR8, but my computer isn't detecting it. I tried using different Sata cables, and still nothing.

Is there something special I need to do since it's a completely blank drive?

| CPU: AMD A8 | MOBO: MSI 7778 | GPU: Asus GTX 650Ti | Case: Corsair 200r |

| SSD: PNY 120gb | HHD: WD Blue 1tb | PSU: Cooler Master 750W |

| peripherals: Corsair Vengeance M65 & Razer Black Widow Ultimate |

Try going into Disk Management and right click on the SSD and press on initialize disk.
