Hi, I made my first build ever. I am going to play Pubg, r6s, rust, csgo and rocket league 1080p. I am beginner with pcs so say if anything is wrong with my build, or should I change some components. I am not going to change processor or gpu, but I dont know nearly anything about ssd, hdd and ram speeds, so help me with those. I just chose cheapest ones. And say if I have unbalanced build, so I wont get bottlenecks. And, I got max 40 € more budget avaible, but if everything is okay, just say it and I wont get my money wasted. And yeah, forgot to mention, say if I should use those 40€ for better monitor, or is it waste using those for monitor.  So here is the build:

Well how about monitor? And what motherboard you recommend me

Can't really say on the monitor front, I have not seen the need for more than 75hz so far.

For the price, I can not really recommend a better board.  The MSI board should be absolutely fine for any R5 chip, its VRM only really limits R7 series chips.

The Strix B350-F is also a weak board and is not worth the extra $30.

@orbitalbuzzsaw basically nailed all my points. My dad's had issues with them more than any other board, I've only used 2 and 1 failed. I've used quite a few Asus and Gigabyte boards without issue. Anecdotal at best, but also why I'll never recommend them.

Fake news.  MSI boards have worked perfectly fine for me for ~10 years.  You do need to know what you are buying though.  There were some crap VRM's on their boards 6 years ago, but I have not seen any similar issues for quite some time.

Had a MSI B350-M for a bit, and it worked well with R5 chips.  Its VRM actually punched well above its weight, being more capable than many 4+2 VRMs even though it was only a 3+2.

The Tomahawk is fine for R5 CPUs, even with overclocking.  R7 should be fine in it, but I would not OC much.  B350-F VRM is not much better, and you wouldnt notice the difference unless you were running an R7, and even then it would only be a 100-200mhz difference.

My MSI AMD board died almost immediately. So. No, they're not all great. I also said anecdotal at best.

It's not fake news when it actually happens. You can also Google multiple issues with MSI boards and there are quite a few people affected by similar problems.

I will never recommend an MSI board. Period.

I have had boards from ALL of the big 3-4 companies be DOA.  Ive put together hundreds of systems, and quality in a given price range is pretty close between them.

Well lucky you. I've not personally had compatibility or overclocking issues because the only MSi board I've ever worked with was a B250 one but I've heard stories of people who've been through hell and back to get a stable overclock or just to get the damn thing working not to mention their CS is shit

you're basically saying that @dizmo's experience is invalid or fake because it didn't match your experience....

Im saying that the experience is based on an unreasonably small sample size.  So yes, it is invalid.

I have MSI/Asus/Gigabyte/ASRock boards from different market segments dating back to ~2006.  The failure rates are similar between all of them.

I believe he is, yes. Fanboy much @KarathKasun ? I've had boards from all 3 of the other major makers and there's a reason all of my systems run ASUS boards and I always recommend ASUS or AsRock boards. Gigabyte makes some good boards too but I've had more failures with their boards than with ASUS or AsRock (i.e. more than zero)
