Hello all,

So, in maximum 2 months I want to get my dream PC. I have a budget of around 4 500$, and I want the best of the best, but to look classic at same time.

For that I figured out I would want an 1080ti SLI, and Ryzen 7 2700x. I really want some opinions from you guys :)

Do you think that by the end of this year, the new line of nVidia gpu's will launch?

Below you can see the build I fixed up... The 120mm fans will be on the cooler and in front of the case and the 140mm fan will be in the back of the case. I went with the black-white scheme.

How will the system be used?

1000W seems excessive.

Did you consider an RGB build?

Hybrid hdd are not really worth it as secondary drives.

Consider getting a 1TB SATA ssd instead of a small NVMe and larger Hybrid hdd.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

The system will be used for streaming and gaming... occasionally working in SolidWorks for 3D models.

I opted for 1kW because I want as much more efficiency as possible and future OC.

Didn't want to add the hybrid HDD, wanted to add the normal Seagate 2TB HDD. The 1TB SSD is too expensive already... :(

don't do 1080ti sli.

1. support is getting worse

2. around end of august is a possible launch for the next generation which will be a better experience then sli.

oh cool, was hoping to see this... maybe the I'll post-pone the build until October

There are 850W 80+ Titanium psu available. But I'm not sure any are worth the cost. I'd suggest giving serious consideration to an excellent 850W 80+ Gold or Platinum model.

Makes sense to wait till later in the year if possible.

Will take this in consideration :)

For those wandering this will be the peripherals. First monitor will be only for movies and "control", the second being the prime one.

get a quadro p5000, basically a 1080 ti in terms of gaming but 2x better in workstation loads.

uhmmmm... the price here for that gpu is the 2x 1080ti, so I don't think this is such a great value...

I use Solid Works pretty occasionally, like once every 2-3 months and for little projects.
