Hi LTT community,

I'm planning to build my first rig this month and I currently have two setups in mind. I'll mostly do virtualization stuff and light gaming and I also don't plan to overclock cpu wise.

Which one do you guys think would perform better?

EDIT: Changed MOBO for Intel build and PSU for both. Would also like to hear feedback from you guys regarding compatibility issues (if any) to commonly used virtualization/emulation programs like gns3, eve-ng, ESXi, etc.

Don't buy that PSU, it's really bad. Buy a EVGA G2 650W instead.

you're playing it close with your wattage. Go with a 650w PSU.

The 2700x build

I would highly recommend picking up an Seasonic FOCUS Gold 650 watt instead.

The stock cooler om the 2700x will be plenty when not overclocking.

That's supposed to be a focus 650W on that list. Anyway thanks for your feedback!.
