Hi guys, I'm new on the forum and I wanted to ask you if you could help he creating a workstation for light editing video/photo.

I surfed the net a bit and found out (as I expected) that probably the best value is the ryzen 5 2400g but because of my very strict budget, around 450€ I won't be able to get a gpu unless it is a gt730 that is actually an openGL card.

Have you any kind of advice? More importantly is the bios to be updated, to do that I need a first gen ryzen? Are there any mobos that have the bios already updated?

Thank in advance to anybody who answers.

The 2400G's own graphics would beat the GT730. Look for used Xeon workstations, ones with X5650's and 16GB ram.

I'm working for someone who uses only amazon, I'll take a look if there is something there (keep in mind that we actually need 12 of them)

Add a pair of Ramsticks down the line for 16GB of Ram

For 30€ extra you can get a bigger and better SSD to store ongoing projects on

you're amazing!!

Just one more question, the mobo needs the upgrade or it is already upgraded to latest bios?

Should be upgraded to latest BIOS according to the info ive recieved. Worst case scenario you order a bootkit or ask a local tech store to update it
