$600-$800 Laptop Options

I don't know much about laptops because iv'e personally never needed one but a friend of mine really does and I need help recommending some. She needs it for just general usage, web-browsing, entertainment and some very light work. She doesn't want tablety laptops and doesn't want it to be too bulky. Oh and she doesn't need that much storage so one with SSD instead of mass storage would be better too.

Thanks as always!

Weight and display size doesn't matter much, she just said nothing too bulky. Shes currently using really old, slow, and very bulky laptop right now.

(Her laptop seems takes forever to turn on, forever to load anything and constantly buffers when watching anything. Plus I think its overheating, could be dust and old thermal paste and battery but shes not comfortable doing all that and probably not worth it with how old it is)

If she need a good quality display, you need at least $750 budget. If not, she can get a decent one at around $600. Does she need a good quality display?
