I have in my possession a Shuttle SK22G2, sans CPU.

The CPU list is here

http://global.shuttle.com/news/productsSupportList?productId=99

Yes, this is an *old* box, I'm going to make a retro SCSI gaming system with it (or something equally cheap n' cheerful)

I have everything for the system except the CPU.

I assume on that supported CPU list, I simply find the fastest one and dig it up from eBay, or is that not the case with these old procs?

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

Try and pick up one of the 65W 5200+'s if you can. Shouldn't really be a performance dropoff from the 5400+ and you'll have a cooler chip, and it'll probably be a fair chunk cheaper than the 6000+ (one notch down from best of it's kind so it'll likely carry a silly premium).

Thank you kindly. The difference in price from a non-chinese seller isn't bad, but the lower temp and wattage is always a plus.

Cheers mate
