I have had a several month journey with my recently built (Early February) PC with the memory. It was running flawlessly until somewhat late May, where one Friday night I went to bed, shutting of the PC and everything. I wake up the following Saturday morning, and boot up my PC. All of a sudden, BSOD. I thought "Hey. It happens sometimes", and proceeded to boot up my PC once again. But the blue screens continued. I had recently installed an SSD in the PC, so I thought that might have been the issue. So I reformatted it, deleting everything on it. But the blue screens continued. I still thought it was the SSD, so I even went to the lengths as to pull out the SSD and just run of the HDD (Where the OS is located), but the blue screens continued. I even went so far as to completely reinstall windows. And as I sat in my chair thinking, "I won!", all the sound and video froze. I was seriously mad then, as I figured I had just wasted the countless hours I had spent installing things. So in my anger, I completely removed the GPU, (Since the screen freezes I thought it might be it), and plugged my HDMI cable into the onboard HDMI port on the motherboard and booted up once again... the blue screens continued. By that time I had noticed that only when running somewhat resource heavy games and services was it crashing. (Rocket League, Fortnite, CSGO). I then came to the realization that it was... the memory. I tested this by running memtest and also taking out one DIMM of the RAM and seeing how it ran. The computer seemed to run fine on only one of the two DIMMs of RAM, so I thought I had a faulty DIMM, and had it RMA'ed. After that painful ordeal with corsair that took nearly 6 weeks, I finally received my RAM today. I thought I was on the final stretch. I slotted it in and booted up my PC. It worked. I then tried the ultimate test. The program that had given me the most catastrophic results out of any of my "tests". Fortnite. I open it up and get into a game. Everything seems to be fine. But then... About 1 minute into the game... it crashed. It gave me a memory related error. I watched in horror thinking, "No... It can't be the RAM then... what is it?" I then proceeded to spend about an hour browsing around for a solution, running SFC /SCANNOW and all of that. Even reinstalling the game. I open it up once again. And it crashes. Another memory related error. I just gave up on Fortnite there, and thought, "Perhaps it is just Fortnite?". So I opened Rocket League. It crashes whilst loading the game. Bad news. Nevertheless, I open it up again, and it seems to be running fine. I played two games, and it crashed in the middle of the second one. The memory...

This is what brought me here. A desperate man looking desperately for help so he can play his trendy games.

I take it you disabled any XMP you may have been using? Or even downclocking?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

And also, only one of the DIMMs worked in the first slot

Only one of the new sticks?

I haven't tested the one slot per stick yet with the new ones

That's what I would do, if you can determine the new RAM is fine it is most likely the MOBO.

May have just been seated incorrectly and or some debris causing a faulty connection.

Hope that's the case, easy fix!
