Asus or ASROCK?

So the computer will have an i5 8400, gtx 1070 ti, 16gb ram (2x8).I'm not thinking about overclocking but I'm indecisive about getting the Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING or ASROCK Z370 EXTREME4 or should i get any other board? Any suggestions?

You cant overclock on a locked processor and buy a b360m ds3h if your only buying a cheap i5. No sense wasting more money on a board than on your actual processor yourself. Use the extra money to mabye upgrade to a i5-8600 non k or more ram or more ssd space.

With the budget for a 1070, you mughtnwant to downgrade to a 1070 and buy a 8600k and a 120$ gigabyte z370. The i5 8400 might throttle your computer.

what do you suggest getting for a cpu with the gtx 1070 ti?

8600non k/k or 8700 non k/k depending on your budget. I myself would prefer the 8700 doesnt matter if K or non K, the extra threads are what I want *starts compiling*
