I just got two parts from Newegg. Delta force RGB and the Rog STRIX X470-I motherboard. Are the compatible?

Although it is not listed among the compatible RAM modules for the ASUS ROG STRIX X470-I, I highly doubt that it will give you any issues.

As I've said, although it is not listed among the compatible RAM modules, you should be fine. The RAM modules listed in the motherboard's datasheet are the RAM modules that have been tested by the manufacturer (and proved to be working: thus the manufacturer guarentees compatibility). However, this most likely means that the Force DDR4 RAM is simply not tested on this motherboard.
