I have a hyperxcloud 2 headset - which I have been using for gaming. I noticed it isn't detected in Realtek, which is understandable as it is usb plugged. Should I use the usb or an adapter like this - Sound Blaster Audio/Mic Splitter which I have recently got my hands on - brother bought it for some reason then gave it to me when he didn't need it. I tested it out for a mic - sounds worse than the usb plugin with the controller - question is will it make it easier to hear footsteps etc on games like Rainbow Six Siege?

Any ideas on how to set it up in realtek and sound studio if needed? Im on a rog mobo so can use those features if needed. Been testing it out and to me it seems like the dongle sounds better - and the mic is much better with the dongle.
