I have it in a U-Phoria UMC 22. There is no back panel on it. (If you were talking about the motherboard, it does not have a 6.35 jack.

Do you only hear the ticking when audio is coming through or is it present when the source is muted?

Only present when I have windows unmuted. So it must be something on windows or driver/card related... I have all other audio devices muted.

I'm not overly familiar with Behringer's AIs, but it's likely going to be related to driver, what are you currently using, or are you just using the basic windows controls?

What do you mean by basic windows controls? I really dont know what to check, please tell me where to find it and I can tell you.

like do you just have your AI selected as your default playback device in windows or do you have some form of third party software handling your audio (eg ASIO4ALL)?

In the windows sound settings it says that I have

http://prntscr.com/k4jmyv

as my mic

and

http://prntscr.com/k4jn3k

as my playback device. I think I just have the AI.

i would suggest you download ASIO4ALL, a lot of people have had issues with this AI and are saying that changing the buffer size can help alleviate if not completely remove any popping.

http://www.asio4all.org/

Not completely sure what to do with this... How do I use it? http://prntscr.com/k4jq91

no idea, I personally have never used it. I would recommend reading the instruction manual

I tried high and low in that program, it did not seem to change the noise. Any other ideas? If it helps: when I turn up the audio on my U-Phoria it gets louder (the popping) and when i turn down windows volume it does not get quieter. When turning it back up however, it seems to get louder for a millisecond when windows plays the volume test noise. As I said above, when at 0 volume the sound is inaudible.
