So, I'm looking to make use of some old hardware I have lying around to maybe make an HTPC. I have a Pentium G3258 from my first PC build, and a couple of older laptops with ddr3-l memory. I've found a few motherboards on the market like this one that seem like a good fit, but I'm not sure if the laptop memory is compatible, as it has clock speeds more in the 800 MHz range. Would it work?

First memory runs in dual data rate mode (whits makes your ram 1600MHz (800*2) )

Second: No it wil not work you gote a 1151 cpu and your looking at a 1150 motherbord  its 1 am yes it will work.

DDR3L is just memory that runs lower voltage than normal regular DDR3. My old PC was running on 4GB of Crucial DDR3L-1666 memory and it worked fine, it came stock with Kingston DDR3-1333, for comparison.
