first x299 build; no post

Hi,

 

I usually build Z(1)(2)(3)70's bord and i'm making a x299 now with the purpose of a photorendering machine. Though after ghetto test bedding it, we're getting no post.

 

Here's the part list:

We tried:

 

* changing monitor

* double checking screen input

* changed to a known working GPU

* Tried both HDMI and Displayport inputs with different cables

* used a different RAM slot

 

Anyone has any idea what we're missing?

Maybe have a look at your manual what it say about those "EZ Debug LEDs".

X299 and X399 can take a while to post.

Turns out it was a faulty RAM stick, case closed thanks.
