This is a future build that I just built off of pcpartspicker.com, I put together something that will be satisfying to me but what do you guys think about the rig that I've created here? Let me know of improvements that I can make and what to do when building my PC!

(I hope to accomplish getting close to the amount of money that I can afford to build this thing but hey, its what I decided to do in my spare time so yeah ;))

You don't need 2 1080ti's. That's waaaaay overkill, and SLI support for games is sparse at best.

Main PC:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X • Noctua NH-D15 • MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk • 2x8GB G.skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16 • MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3070 OC • Samsung 970 Evo 1TB • Samsung 860 Evo 1TB • Cosair iCUE 465X RGB • Corsair RMx 750W (White)

Peripherals/Other:

ASUS VG27AQ • G PRO K/DA • G502 Hero K/DA • G733 K/DA • G840 K/DA • Oculus Quest 2 • Nintendo Switch (Rev. 2)

Laptop (Dell XPS 13):

Intel Core i7-1195G7 • Intel Iris Xe Graphics • 16GB LPDDR4x 4267MHz • 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD • 13.4" OLED 3.5K InfinityEdge Display (3456x2160, 400nit, touch).

Got any questions about my system or peripherals? Feel free to tag me (@bellabichon) and I'll be happy to give you my two cents.

I'm assuming that they know, but they want higher quality.

Are you actually going to build that? You don't need to spend more than like $1500 really.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

If you aren't building for months there's no point in planning now

but what's your monitor resolution/refresh rate? More than likely just grab  the R7 2700X and a 1070ti

This build seems unbalanced to me. You have two GTX 1080 Ti's, but only 32GB of 2133 RAM. That's not unheard of, but it's a bit odd. Also, with your budget, why not get an X470 board for the next gen CPU you have? A bad motherboard could restrict the expensive components that you have, which would be a waste.

Personally, I would recommend getting higher rated RAM, probably around 3000, and upgrading the motherboard to a reliable X470. However, if you are planning on downgrading the build a bit, say to only one 1080 Ti, this isn't so important. I would also consider an aftermarket cooler for the CPU, as they can be fairly inexpensive (although that doesn't seem to be a concern for you) and keeping your CPU cool can get a bit more performance out of it, and extends the lifespan. Other than those few things, seems like a great build!

yeah but the one issue that I have is that I need a board that I can use for a great efficiency and has the specs that I need and this is the board that i fould that would work for me, what suggestions (from the same manufacturer and series) do you have for the board and as well as the cpu, ram, and cpu cooler?

The CPU is good, unless you wanted to upgrade to a Threadripper, but those can be really expensive. For the cooler, if you want to overclock, go with a good AIO like Corsair's H115i Pro, or you could go for the bigger H150i Pro if your case supports it. If not, you can't go wrong with an air cooler like Noctua's NH-D15 or Be Quiet's Dark Rock Pro 4. As for RAM, Corsair's Vengeance or Dominator Platinum (DDR4-3000/3200) are good quality and not too expensive. For this expensive of a rig, you might also consider upgrading your case to one with more functionality. If you dig NZXT, I could recommend the H700 (Not H700i, I don't like the smart features). Finally, the motherboard. If it works for you, keep it. If you want to upgrade and keep the manufacturer, the Aorus Gaming 7 is a pretty good choice.

I've changed some things about it but I didn't know that SLI just makes the card that I already have better, which I don't need really all that much. I've changed the case and the ram to max it out, as well as adding another CPU cooler just in CASE ;) (Pun intended) I need another one. But as for everything else. Hows it look so far?

Took a look at it, and decreased cost. Selected higher performance lower cost ram that saves you $810. Found fans at the same size with higher CFM RGB controller and lower price. Switched to a significantly less costly case. Picked an X470 board, saved money on the 1080 Ti.

The sources at my disposal say that the VRMs betweent he two models are nearly the same quality, probably in favor of the x470 board. It also affords you the nice extra benefit of included WiFi.

I might be able to adjust the build further for greater cost effectiveness.

That would be excellent and you also have been given my backup choice of my current build as well (but I will be on the lookout for more of my changes as well)

Great, this is the third one that I will take into consideration as well. Now as for the boards, I'm going to stick with my ax 370 because it mainly supports legacy things that I might use and as well as having more options for me as ports and internal connectivity goes as well.
