Audio input to my computer?

I am looking for a way to be able to take audio from my phone and put it into my computer, so I can hear it through my headphones. I would like to listen to music and other audio from my phone, have it go into my computer, and out into my headphones. I use to have a astro A40 mix amp, but had to get rid of it when I upgraded to senhieser 599's. Is there a way to do this?

The easiest way of doing this is plugging your phone into your PCs line-in port.

Then set check the box that says "listen to this input" (or something to that effect) in Windows' audio panel.
