USB wifi

HI 

i need help quick!

I installed win7 on my friends machine and now the wifi usb doesent work anymore, its not even detected.. it works on my computer but not on his...

The drivers are updated to the latest version but i havent yet updated the windows..

WHAT CAN I DO???

 

specs:

oem core 2 duo E7500

gtx 220 1GB

Gigabyte MoBo

4GB of generic DDR2 RAM

 

and you know the sound windows makes when you plug in a usb device, when i plug in the wifi adapter it does it in a much shorter and lower variation

like taa-dm when its ok, but all it does now is t-dm.

What brand model is it? It probably has a driver you need to install for it that you forgot.

I tried with 2, one is a level 1 E0605, the other one is a linksys AE1200

 

they both work on my computer without any drivers, just plug in play

 

AAAND the system is a Win7 Premium 64bit from dreamspark

i doesent even detect it like a working device
