[SOLVED] Windows Server 2012 "unidentified network"

KyleDigitalLab

I own a Windows Server 2012 server, and a Windows 10 LTSB computer. Both are hooked up to a Netgear ProSafe GS105 Ethernet switch. That Ethernet switch is then hooked to a Netgear R7000 router, which is hooked up to a Comcast modem. The Windows 10 computer can access the Internet, but the Windows Server 2012 one cannot. I recently switched from a Comcast router to a Netgear one by unplugging the switch from the Comcast router and putting it into the Netgear one. Please help

What kind of IP do you have configured on the server?  If it's a static address it needs to be in the same network as your other hosts.

PC : 3600 · Crosshair VI WiFi · 2x16GB RGB 3200 · 1080Ti SC2 · 1TB WD SN750 · EVGA 1600G2 · Define C

ideally servers should be statically assigned....you can either do that with DHCP reservations or manually on the machine
