1070 or 1080

my pc now: 1050ti,8gb 2400mhz (1 module) r5 1600,asrock ab350m

 

I think I should take 1080 because it will not soon become obsolete and will not have to bother with its sale

360 is a steal for a 1070. That said, it has most likely been mined on.

 

500 is a decent price for a 1080, I'd go for it.

What about the 1070 ti? It has 93% the power of a 1080, but costs ~$50 less.

On newegg 1070ti cost 480-600$,when 1080 (with included the crew 2) cost 500$

1070Ti and give it a decent overclock. You can expect it to perform closely to a 1080.

I would say so, the 1070 ti is a low binned 1080 with GDDR5 instead if GDDR5X.

Which was great when I managed to get a 1070 Ti for RRP, but if there is only $50 difference then a 1080 is also going to be able to overclock far higher than the 1070 Ti so I'd pay the extra if you can afford it.

I would suggest to get yourself the 1070 Ti, overclock it and use the money that you've saved to buy yourself a second 8 GB ram module.
