Windows doesn't install ...

MBR and GPT are partition formats. You can convert the drive to use GPT by:

  • Press Shift + F10 when the install page comes up to bring up a console
  • Type in diskpart
  • Type in list disk
  • Note what the disk number is of the disk you want to use.
  • Type in select disk [number] where [number] is the number of the disk you want to use
  • Type in convert gpt

The drive should be good to go.
