Hi this this past week I've been experiencing this issue on my desktop. Each time I boot the desktop, I do not get internet access. It shows that I am connected to my <network name> + an extra number (ex. home network 4), where it should only be <home network>. I have to reboot my router/modem a couple of times before I end up with a connection where it connects to <home network>, without the number mentioned earlier when it doesn't work. I am running windows 10, connected to a router via Ethernet using a powerline kit. I have updated the firmware of my router already and reset my powerline. If anyone has encountered this problem and has a fix, any advice would help.

Cheers,
Pat

I think we would really need to see if it has the same problem directly connected without the powerline kit, just to prove that isn't the issue.
