no you dont, the stock one is good enough. No harm in trying out the stock cooler first and judge whether you need a new one later anyway, since the stock one comes with the CPU no matter you like it or not.

Hi,

 

I thought I’d put this in a seperate topic. 

 

I would like like to be able to overclock an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (Or Ryzen 5 3600 when it comes out next year) and I am wondering if I need a better processor cooler than the stock one for overclock if to 3.9GHz (Max allowed for warrenty).
