Bluetooth 4.2 with Bluetooth 4.0

Hello, I am currently trying to pair a aftershokz Trek air wireless headphone which has bluetooth 4.2 with a hp 450 which has bluetooth 4.0 on Windows 10 and the name of the adapter is Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth. My computer cannot detect my headphone. Help !!
